The famous Red Arrows are taking to the skies for their busiest day of the year to commemorate Armed Forces Day 2024 today.

Planes from the Royal Air Force’s iconic aerobatic team will soar far and wide across the UK for six different shows in one day.

If you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of the impressive displays, you might just be in luck today if you’re on or near one of the flight paths.

Flypasts are just some of the hundreds of events that have been taking place around the country this month.

But it all culminates in one mega finale this weekend with the Red Arrows taking centre stage.

What is the Red Arrows flight path and schedule today?

Pilots will kick off their packed schedule when they take off from RAF Waddington at 12.46pm before taking part in the Rushden flypast in Northamptonshire at 12.57pm.

They will then be seen at the Shuttleworth Festival of Flight Display at 1pm and the Long Bennington Flypast at 1.35pm before returning to RAF Waddington.

The Red Arrows will depart for a second outing at 4.12pm for the Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend Display, where they will arrive at 4.20pm.

Their third and final showing today will begin at 7pm from RAF Waddington and see them arrive at the Marston Flypast at 7.05pm and the Banbury Flypast at 7.17pm.

Will the Red Arrows be flying on Sunday?

Yes, the Red Arrows are out and about again on Sunday, June 30 for three more flypasts. They will be taking part in the following events:

• Isle of Wight – 11.30am
• Billingshurst Flypast – 2.30pm
• Folkestone – 5.10pm

Their next displays will then be on July 5 in Headcorn, Kent, with a further 14 events lined up in July, as well as six in the UK in August.
