AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Austinites who were planning on making their way to the Moody Center Tuesday night for the Childish Gambino concert will have to adjust their plans.
Donald Glover announced on X Monday afternoon he's postponing the rest of the North American tour for his musical project. The announcement came a day before he was set to play the Moody Center in Austin.
Glover did not specify the exact reason behind the decision to postpone other than to "focus on his physical health for a few weeks." He did say tickets purchased in advance will be honored when the shows are rescheduled.

Glover announced the tour back in May, on the heels of a surprise release called “ATAVISTA”, a re-release of an album demo previously called 3.15.20. Willow Smith, who uses the stage name Willow, is the opening act for the tour.
“The New World Tour” was Glover's first tour in five years and is expected to be his last under his rap moniker, as he's talked about retiring "Childish Gambino" after the release of his most recent album "Bando Stone and the New World."
Glover had gotten through more than half of the North American tour dates before postponing the rest. The international dates remain the same as originally scheduled, with that leg of the tour set to begin Oct. 31. The original tour dates can be viewed in a post announcing the tour on his X account.
There is no indication on what dates the shows will be rescheduled for. The Moody Center made a post on Instagram Tuesday that also said all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date, and Ticketmaster's website has the events for the rest of the leg marked as "postponed." It's unclear if ticketholders are being given a refund option.
