What We’re Tracking
Winds held up through the night, so we're starting off in the upper 40s and lower 50s this morning. A few clouds are filtering through already and will continue to increase throughout the daytime. A stray shower or two is possible, although most stay dry for the start of the weekend. Temperatures will be in the middle to upper 60s this afternoon with winds out of the south at 20-25 mph and gusting upwards of 30 mph.
Our next boundary moves in on Sunday which should help our winds relax. It is possible we see a few more isolated showers throughout the day on Sunday as cloud cover sticks around. With this front we look to cool down just a little with highs more in the upper 50s and lower 60s to wrap up the weekend.
Rain will become more scattered as the evening goes on especially for our southern counties. Widespread showers and storms will take over by early Monday morning and lingering through most of the daytime. Estimated rain amount by Tuesday will be 1-3 inches in some locations.
We'll dry things out by Tuesday morning as temperatures drop closer to average in the middle 50s. By Wednesday we could see highs struggling out of the 40s and lows dropping into the 20s by Thursday and Friday morning.
