TOPEKA (KSNT) — The City of Topeka is rerouting traffic next week for up to nearly two months for road work.
On Aug. 15, southwest Wenger street will be closed north of southwest 57th street for up to 50 days so crews can replace failed concrete pavement panels, according to a release from the City of Topeka. Southwest 57th street will still be open to traffic heading east and west.
Drivers can access businesses on Wenger street by turning west onto 49th street from Topeka Boulevard, then turning south onto Wenger street. The City of Topeka warns drivers to look out for more trucks turning at the intersection of 49th street and Topeka Boulevard.
