Meanwhile, Qaisar Karim Khundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, declared on Thursday that the government has lost control of the province and called for an all-party conference (APC) to assess the situation.
The Pakistani official stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is currently in dire straits, grappling with terrorism and extremism, while attacks on the army and police are on the rise.
Pakistani officials allege that the escalating attacks originate from Afghanistan, supported by the Taliban regime. However, the Taliban deny these accusations, asserting no involvement in cross-border violence, complicating efforts to stabilize the region.
