One in custody after homicide in Kiowa County
MOUNTAIN PARK, Okla. (KFOR) - According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, one person has been arrested following a homicide in Mountain Park.
Officials say medical personnel responded to a home near North Main Street and West Spring Street. Upon arrival, they found 32-year-old Corey Johns with severe injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
Investigators determined Johns has been physically assaulted. OSBI special agents and Mountain Park Police officers identified the suspect as 37-year-old Donald Streiff, who has left before police arrived.
Based on the evidence found during the investigation, Streiff was arrested on May 14 and booked into the Kiowa County Jail on a complaint of First-Degree Manslaughter.
The investigation is still ongoing.
