OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Inflation is still at a historic high, and not many believe prices will ever return to pre-pandemic levels.
Stores like Black Friday Deals and Discounts are so important for many families.
You will never know what you find here, but on any given day the prices are great and you may be able to find a steal.
Another part about this is if you find a box like this, with no label and aren't sure what is inside; you can take it up to the front, they will open it for you and you might find something valuable.
"You can go and take the box and they will open the box so you can see what's inside, and it was a camera," Robin Epton-Anlauf, customer said. "So, it was like perfect and valued for roughly $350 online. I had only paid $8 for it. It was brand new, had the SD card, a tripod and everything in it."
The US economy is still recovering from the pandemic and so are families.
"I'm just trying to find some good bargains," Epton-Anlauf said. "I like to save money like everyone. The economy, it's been not good to people."
Stores like Black Friday Deals and Discounts go a long way for people on a budget.
"We have anywhere from clothes, shoes, we have everything on the tables," Mohamed Arabyat, co-owner of Black Friday Deals and Discounts said. "I mean, we have gaming consoles, we have parts for cars. We have electronics, all kinds of electronics. Sometimes we get laptops like MacBook's. The other week we had two Apple Pros that we sold for $8."
It is a neat concept too. Fresh items are put out Friday; as the days go on the price goes down.
"Saturday is $6, Sunday is $4, Monday is $2, Tuesday is $1 and Wednesday is the cheapest day, $0.50," Arabyat said. "Thursday we're closed for restocking."
It isn't just old used items either, half of their inventory are items ordered on Amazon or other online retailers that are sent back by the buyer un-used.
The company doesn't want it back anymore so they end up at places like here.
"There's a bunch of Amazon labels, there's eBay labels," Arabyat said. "I mean, we receive products from all over the world."
That is why customers like Robin come back so often.
"You would be very surprised what you can find," Epton-Anlauf said. "It's I mean, it's like my favorite store, really. I come here once, twice a week."
