OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - The Red Earth Art Center announced on Friday, a dynamic solo exhibition set to begin called "Closer 2 the Earth".
Museum officials say, attendees can expect a vibrant solo exhibition by the acclaimed pop expressionist artist, Zonly Looman.
The exhibition is free to the public from July 29th - September 27th, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
In "Closer 2 the Earth," Zonly Looman brings forth a collection of works deeply influenced by his Kumeyaay and Chumash heritage. Primarily a self-taught artist, Zonly’s dedication is a unique pop expressionist style that vibrantly captures cultural narratives and personal expression, according to The Red Earth Art Center.
"Closer 2 the Earth" promises to be a remarkable showcase of Zonly Looman's latest works. The opening reception will feature new pieces, a live painting session, along with food and refreshments.
