Authorities are on the scene of a possible standoff in northwest Oklahoma City.
Officials say the standoff has ended and the suspect has died. It is believed the injured officer is going to be okay.
Officials says multiple people, including children, were removed from the home and officers have entered. It is unknown if anyone has been taken into custody.
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Authorities are on the scene of a standoff in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, officers responded to a home near NW 36th St. and Pennsylvania Ave. around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning. The streets surrounding have been closed.
The situation allegedly started when an officer confronted someone trying to get into a vehicle.
There are reports that an officer was shot during the incident and taken to a nearby hospital. Officials say that officer underwent surgery.
Neighbors have told News 4 that they heard gunshots in the area.
