Oklahoma's baseball team managed just one run in a 4-1 loss to Connecticut in the NCAA regional at Mitchell Park in Norman on Saturday night.
Kendall Pettis hit a solo home run in the eighth inning for the only run of the game, trimming Connecticut's lead to 4-1.
The Huskies got on the board in the third inning with an RBI single by Korey Morton.
In the seventh, they got some major insurance as Luke Broadhurst connected for a three-run home run to put the Huskies up 4-0.
OU starting pitcher Braden Davis struck out 10 in 6 and a third innings, but was charged with three of the four Huskie runs, as Dylan Crooks surrendered the home run.
Oklahoma falls to the losers' bracket and will play Duke in an elimination game Sunday at 2:00 pm.
Connecticut will play at 8:00 pm Sunday against the winner of the OU-Duke game, and the Huskies will have to be beaten twice to win the regional.
