The new campaign, titled “Midnight Magic,” premiered during the awards ceremony on ABC and highlights the special memories that families can create while sailing on a Disney cruise.

The commercial follows a father and son sharing a quiet tradition together on a Disney ship. The story unfolds over several stages of life, showing the pair returning to the same magical moment over the years as their relationship grows from childhood into adulthood eventually into the next generation. The touching spot focuses on the emotional side of travel and creating memories.

According to Adweek, the campaign was inspired by real experiences shared by Disney Cruise guests.
“When you sail with Disney—or experience any Disney vacation for that matter—it’s not just about the ship or the destination; it’s about how it makes you feel,” Disney’s Asad Ayaz told the outlet. “Our ships offer incredible entertainment, dining, and experiences, but it goes deeper than that, and that’s what we’re aiming to show through this campaign.” Watch the ad above.
