Ed Sheeran Says Wife Cherry Seaborn Is 'Fine' After Cancer Diagnosis
Ed Sheeran is addressing the health of his wife, Cherry Seaborn.
The 35-year-old “Shape of You” singer opened up about his 33-year-old wife’s cancer diagnosis on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast.

When reflecting on his best and worst days, Ed brought up the day that Cherry was diagnosed.
“Cherry rang me up and said she had cancer,” he said of the 2022 diagnosis.
“That was probably the worst day,” adding it was “the worst week” of his life because his friend and collaborator Jamal Edwards also died due to cardiac arrhythmia.
As for how she’s doing now, four years later?
“She’s fine. She had the operation — she was pregnant at the time — that was why it was difficult. She had the operation to remove the tumor after she’d given birth to our second child, and thankfully [she’s] totally fine,” he said, admitting it was “f–king scary” to hear the diagnosis.
And as far as his best day, he replied: “My wedding day.”
