The Pitt's Isa Briones Sets Broadway Return, Will Join 'Just in Time' Musical as Connie Francis
Isa Briones is set to join the cast of the Broadway musical Just in Time, replacing current star Sarah Hyland.
The 27-year-old actress is best known for her role as Dr. Trinity Santos on the HBO Max series The Pitt, but she has a musical theatre background. Isa previously played the role of Eurydice in the Tony-winning musical Hadestown, opposite her father Jon Jon Briones, who is a theatre legend.
Isa will join the cast of Just in Time on April 1, taking over the role of Connie Francis. She joins the show on the same night as Matthew Morrison, who will play Bobby Darin for a three-week engagement.
Jeremy Jordan joins the show on April 21 as Bobby Darin alongside Broadway favorite Carrie St. Louis as Sandra Dee.
