Barbra Streisand to Receive Honorary Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival 2026
Barbra Streisand is receiving a big honor at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
The 83-year-old Funny Girl legend will receive an honorary Palme d’Or for her life’s work over the past six decades.
Barbra is a two-time Oscar winner, and has won 10 Grammys. She has sold over 150 million records worldwide. Barbra also directed Yentl, The Prince of Tides and The Mirror Has Two Faces.
She is also one of the rare celebrities to have EGOT status.

“Barbra Streisand has reached the pinnacle of the entertainment industry like no one before her. But this staggering record pales in comparison to her influence on pop culture in the second half of the twentieth century,” organizers said in an announcement, via Reuters.
An acclaimed director will also be receiving an honorary award at this year’s ceremony.
