Barbra Streisand Reportedly in Talks to Perform at Oscars 2026 for Robert Redford Tribute
Barbra Streisand is reportedly considering a performance at the 2026 Academy Awards.
The 83-year-old icon is said to be in discussions to perform a tribute to her co-star Robert Redford at the ceremony on Sunday, March 15.

According to the report from Page Six, Barbra is in talks to sing during the In Memoriam segment.
“It has not been decided if the In Memoriam would be a solo performance by Streisand or if she’d be joined by other artists,” Variety also notes.
Robert passed away in September 2025 at the age of 89.
If you don’t know, the pair starred in the iconic film The Way We Were as Katie Morosky and Hubbell Gardiner.
Barbra performed at the Oscars in 2013, singing “The Way We Were” in honor of late composer Marvin Hamlisch during the In Memoriam.
Barbra also remembered Robert with a touching tribute on social media.
