Police Department Issues Hysterical Warning After Parent Packs Their Kid Alcohol for Lunch: 'That Is NOT Apple Juice'
A police department in Georgia went viral after having to issue parents a hysterical warning for the local school district.
On Wednesday (February 25) the City of South Fulton Police Department took to Facebook to let parents know that they might accidentally be sending their kids to school with an alcoholic beverage packed for lunch.
Instead of sending their little ones off for a day of learning with a juice box or milk money, at least one child seemingly showed up for lunch with a Cutwater in their lunchbox.

“Before you send them babies off to school… ????️CHECK. THE. LUNCHBOX. Because why are we getting reports of juice boxes sitting next to… Cutwater margaritas??” the police department wrote, pairing the warning with a photo of a lunchbox with the beverage nestled in next to a bag of chips.
They continued, warning anyone who is unaware: “That is NOT Capri Sun. That is NOT Apple Juice. That is a whole ‘Parent had a long night’ starter pack.”
“Now little Johnny done pulled up to 3rd period talking about: ‘Who want fruit snacks?’ knowing good and well he got a Lemon Drop Martini in the zipper pocket,” they continued, urging parents to “TIGHTEN UP.”
“We know mornings can be hectic… But your child shouldn’t be the only one in the cafeteria with a beverage that requires an ID,” authorities wrote, providing a handy morning checklist that encouraged parents to prioritize making sure homework is finished and lunch is packed with alcoholic beverages left at home.
Their final warning: “If it says 12% ABV… it does NOT belong next to a PB&J. Check the lunchbox before the Fulton County Schools Police resource officers gotta do inventory at recess.”
People in the comments section reacted to the funny message, with one person hypothesizing that the beverage — renowned for being strong — was “really sent for the teacher as a peace offering.”
“Idk about yall but those 12% ABV be hitting pretty hard with that smuckers uncrustable on a hot summers day on the lake,” one person wrote.
