Kimberly just spoke out, revealing that the two renewed their vows prior to his death.
“We decided two days beforehand and our friends got us new rings, filled our bedroom with flowers and candles and we renewed our vows from bed,” Kimberly said in an interview with People.
The ceremony was “simple and beautiful and moving,” she went on to say of the moment, which was attended by family and a few close friends, including instrumentalist Poranguí, who played the “most beautiful music” and closed the ceremony with “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
The couple got married in August of 2010 in Tel Aviv, Israel, and welcomed six children together: daughters Olivia, 15, Annabel, 12, Emilia, 9½, and Gwendolyn, 7, and sons Joshua, 13, and Jeremiah, 4.
One of James Van Der Beek‘s “closest friends,” actor Mehcad Brooks, is coming to his defense after his tragic death.
