Charlize Theron Delivers a Message of Hope & Peace at Olympics 2026 Opening Ceremony
Charlize Theron appeared during the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony in her role as the UN Peace Ambassador.
The Oscar-winning actress delivered a message of hope inside the historic San Siro Stadium on Friday night (February 6) in Milan, Italy.
Charlize‘s message was inspired by Nelson Mandela. If you didn’t know, she was born in South Africa and founded the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project in 2007 to support young people in southern Africa.
“Peace is not just the absence of conflict. Peace is the creation of an environment where all can flourish, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, class, caste or any other social markers of difference,” she said during her speech.
A teaser trailer for Charlize‘s upcoming Netflix thriller movie was recently released.
