The Masked Singer is back!
A new episode of season 14 of the hit FOX singing competition series aired on Wednesday night (February 4).
The show, which began in South Korea, features celebrities singing songs while wearing costumes and face masks concealing their identities until they’re eliminated. Throughout the season, the contestants provide clues to try and help the judges and fans figure out who is under the mask.
This season’s contestants boast a combined total of 94 million records sold, 21 platinum singles, 3 Emmy Award victories, 3 Hall of Famers, 3 World Series wins, and 54 million Instagram followers.
During the episode, Eggplant hit the stage for a performance of “American Woman” by Lenny Kravitz.

OUR GUESS: Martin Short
Based on the clues, we’re pretty sure that Martin Short is under the Eggplant mask. Red shorts are an obvious reference to his last name of “Short.” As clearly evident in the clue package, Martin is considered a comedy legend and has appeared on Broadway, and appeared the musical The Producers back in 2003. He also won a Tony award for Little Me. As for the celebrity connections, Martin appeared on Jason Bateman‘s podcast SmartLess and starred alongside Jack Nicholson in Mars Attacks!.
