The Traitors' Candiace & Rob Throw Shade at Each Other After That Controversial Elimination During Episode 7: Spoilers

Candiace Dillard Bassett and Rob Rausch are getting heated online after that controversial elimination on the latest episode of The Traitors.

After the new episode of the Peacock reality series aired on Thursday (January 29), Candiace and Rob are at odds with one another over the star who got sent home.

The following day, Rob hopped into the comments section of a social media post that critiqued him for being a “boy’s boy.” While he wrote off the claim, Candiace was quick to weigh in and throw some shade.

After Lisa Rinna pulled off an impressive feat and managed to murder Survivor star Yam Yam Arocho in front of the rest of the competitors during a banquet, Rob turned on his fellow traitor and helped get her sent home by partnering with Colton Underwood.

The elimination leaves Rob and Candiace as the only surviving traitors for the season, but they are at odds since Rob sided against Lisa during the roundtable.

Instead of joining forces with him, Candiace voted to eliminate Rob. A teaser for the upcoming episode, which airs on February 5, Candiace appears to be doing everything that she can to start an alliance against Rob, who has also declared war on her.

A social media user on Instagram criticized Rob for turning on his fellow traitor, calling him a “boy’s boy.”

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them,” she said in the video, hypothesizing that Rob views his female competitors as “disposable” while prioritizing “alliances with his boys.”

Continuing, she said, “He got rid of Lisa Rinna because she was unphased by hot.”

“Rob likes to surround himself with people who look at him with goo-goo eyes,” she said, adding, “Colton is looking at him with heart eyes.”

The video praised Candiace‘s gameplay, saying that her vote will eventually cast doubts on Rob, especially if he succeeds in getting her sent home.

“It’s brilliant, and she’s going to eat him like an egg,” the influencer said.

One person who did not seem to agree was Rob, who took to the comments section to write: “This is actually ridiculous.”

Candiace replied to him, throwing shade while writing, “???? is it?”

Although Rob replied, arguing, “It’s a game,” she hit back with a final parting shot: “Grow up, Robby Bobby. Gaslighting ages you????.”
