Sydney Sweeney & Noah Centineo's 'Gundam' Film Adaptation Finds New Home With Netflix!

Sydney Sweeney and Noah Centineo are set to star in the new movie, and it was just revealed that Netflix is getting on board to distribute the feature, according to Deadline.

Legendary is producing the upcoming film with franchise owner Bandai Namco Filmworks, and it will likely premiere on Netflix, with a possible theatrical release.
Sweet Tooth‘s Jim Mickle has also been attached to direct.
Per Deadline, “Gundam is set in the Universal Century, a future where humanity has colonized space. When a rebellion erupts between Earth and its colonies, the ensuing conflict is fought by pilots in massive mechanized contraptions known as mobile suits.”
Filming is set to begin this year, and it will mark a second recent collaboration between Legendary and Noah, who is also starring in the studio’s upcoming Street Fighter movie.
