The ad features the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales, marking their 48th national appearance during the Super Bowl, as well as one of the youngest Clydesdale foals ever to appear in a Budweiser commercial.
Lincoln, a Bald Eagle provided by the American Eagle Foundation permitted by USFWS, also makes an appearance to symbolize Budweiser and America’s connection.
Lynyrd Skynyrd‘s “Free Bird” plays during the spot, which sees a Clydesdale foal befriending a small bird next to a fallen tree.
The two grow up together, watched by farmers, including real-life Budweiser barley farmer Brian Fransen.
In the end, the now-grown Clydesdale is seen leaping a log, and an American Bald Eagle flies behind him, revealing the bird’s true identity.
The spot was directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Henry-Alex Rubin, and will air during the 2026 Super Bowl and on Budweiser’s digital channels.
The Budweiser Clydesdales will also be making beer deliveries in San Francisco leading up to the Super Bowl. Get more details at @BudweiserUSA!
