Sara Foster Reveals She Once Went on a 'Blah' Date with George Clooney, Remembers Thinking, 'Oh, He is So Old'
Sara Foster is recalling a time when she went on a “depressing” and “blah” date with George Clooney.
The 44-year-old Nobody Wants This producer says she was set up by Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber with the actor, who is now 64.

“I got set up with George Clooney, like, 30 years ago. It was such a blah. Sorry, had to say it,” Sara revealed to her sister Erin Foster on their new episode of The World’s First Podcast.
She later added that she didn’t think the Ocean’s Eleven star was “that into it either” because she was sad about a breakup at the time and “started crying” over her ex to him.
“So I think he was like, ‘This chick’s not okay,’” she joked.
According to Sara, the double date with Cindy and Rande had her sitting there thinking “I’m gonna die, like I’m gonna die.”
“Then, here’s this one who just feels like a grandpa. It was depressing. I was so depressed,” she added.
Sara also said that she “never understood” the age-gap relationships where a 19-year-old would date a 40-year-old.
“I just always thought that was so weird,” she said.
Since she and George are 20 years apart, it seems like that would have been about the gap between them at the time of the date.
“I also think it wasn’t George being like, ‘Oh, set me up with Sara Foster.’ I think it was more like Rande and Cindy being like, ‘We know someone great,’” said the 90210 alum.
George is now married to Amal Clooney and the couple were recently granted French citizenship.
