Donald Trump Says Diddy 'Asked Me for a Pardon,' Reveals If He'll Grant It
Donald Trump is addressing the possibility of granting Sean “Diddy” Combs a presidential pardon.
If you don’t know, the 56-year-old entertainer was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
In an exclusive report by the New York Times published on Thursday, January 8, Trump, 79, revealed that Diddy “asked me for a pardon.”

The POTUS also said that Diddy reached out to him “through a letter.”
When reporters asked for more details about Diddy‘s request, Trump responded, “Oh, would you like to see that letter?” However, he did not end up producing the letter.
Since his arrest in September 2024, Diddy‘s legal team has reached out to Trump on multiple occasions in hopes for a pardon.
Trump has previously explained why he hasn’t helped out Diddy yet.
