Hugh Dancy, Mariska Hargitay & More 'Law & Order' Stars Past & Present Celebrate Show's 25th Anniversary
The stars of Law & Order, past and present, have united to celebrate the long-running show’s 25th anniversary!
Current franchise stars Hugh Dancy and Mariska Hargitay were seen posing with past stars Sam Waterston and S Epatha Merkerson while stepping out for the big party, where they were joined by many others on Tuesday evening (January 6) in New York City.
NBC‘s procedural drama first premiered in 1990, and aired 20 consecutive seasons through 2010, before going off air for over a decade, returning in 2022 through the present.

While it’s not exactly the 25th year since it debuted, the series is in the midst of airing it’s 25th season, hence the celebration.
The show has since spawned several spinoffs, including Special Victims Unit, Criminal Intent, Trial by Jury, LA, True Crime, Organized Crime and Exiled.
