'Miss Piggy' Movie: Who's Going to Star? Emma Stone Reveals She Won't Play Her
In November, we learned that Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence are producing a Miss Piggy film together, with Oh, Mary!‘s Cole Escola writing the script.
Not much info was given when we learned this news, and now Emma is responding to one of the biggest questions: will she be starring as Miss Piggy?!

Emma told W, “First of all, that is the biggest insult to Miss Piggy I’ve ever heard, and I will not have her name dragged through the mud like that. Why would I play a literal star? She’s the greatest. No, of course I’m not playing Miss Piggy. And neither is Jen.”
She added, “We pale in comparison. Are you out of your mind? Miss Piggy is playing Miss Piggy. She would be storming out right now at the mere suggestion.”
Miss Piggy is going to be busy because she has another gig lined up too.
