Thomas Jane Joins 'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Final Season In Iconic Role
Thomas Jane is set to make an appearance in the upcoming fifth and final season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds!
The 56-year-old actor has joined the cast of the Star Trek series for the show’s upcoming finale, according to Variety.
Also joining the cast for the final episode is Kai Murakami.

Thomas has been cast in the role of Leonard “Bones” McCoy, while Kai will play Hikaru Sulu in his TV debut, both iconic roles in the franchise.
Leonard McCoy has previously been played by DeForest Kelley and Karl Urban. Hikaru was made famous by George Takei, and has also been portrayed by John Cho.
Season four has yet to air, but season five recently wrapped production.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds tells the story of “Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) leading the USS Enterprise before James T. Kirk (Paul Wesley) took command. On the original series, Pike is introduced as a man who’s been horribly disfigured and paralyzed, and on ‘Strange New Worlds,’ Pike knows of his eventual tragic fate even as he forges ahead as the Enterprise’s captain.”
