Ariana Grande Explains Why She & Cynthia Erivo Are Always Touching
Ariana Grande shares why she and her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo are so often holding hands and touching one another during interviews and press events.
The 32-year-old Glinda actress visited Amy Poehler‘s podcast Good Hang on Tuesday (November 18) and the Saturday Night Live vet asked her about her and Cynthia‘s relationship.

Ariana shared that she often channels energy through her hands and is “always holding a hand, always squeezing something” or reaching for something, usually whoever tends to be in the vicinity.
The two actresses have clearly bonded throughout their Wicked journey together and the “Eternal Sunshine” singer says they’ve “worked hard to maintain” that bond. They even do regular check-ins when they’re not together.
“We’re both so busy but do our best to stay connected in that way and to take care of each other so we can honor the project as much as humanly possible,” she shared.
During the same podcast episode, Ariana revealed that her upcoming tour might be last one for a “long, long time.”
