Sydney Sweeney is hard at work on her upcoming movie The Housemaid!
The 27-year-old actress was seen heading to set on Monday afternoon (January 6) in New York City.
Here’s a plot summary: “Millie (Sweeney) is a struggling young woman who is relieved to get a fresh start as a housemaid to Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew (Brandon Sklenar), an upscale, wealthy couple. She soon learns that the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.”
Michele Morrone will also star in the upcoming movie, which is being directed by Paul Feig. The film is based on the bestselling book by Freida McFadden.
The Housemaid, published in 2022, is a No. 1 New York Times bestseller that’s sold over 1 million copies and spawned follow-up books as well. The movie will hit theaters on December 25, 2025.
