Now that we’re in 2025, let’s take a look back at 2024 and recap all of the major casting shakeups on the ABC soap opera series General Hospital.
After 60 years on the air, the daytime soap opera continues its tradition of passion, intrigue and adventure that has depicted the ongoing lives of the diverse and evolving citizens of the fictional town of Port Charles set in upstate New York.
Soap operas are full-time jobs for the actors on the show and if they ever get sick or take a vacation, the producers might find a temporary replacement to play their role for a few days.
