Jeff Baena has passed away.
On Saturday morning (January 4), it was reported that the director and writer, who was also married to Aubrey Plaza, died by suicide, People confirms. He was 47-years-old.
Keep reading to find out more…Law enforcement sources told TMZ that an assistant found Jeff‘s body at a Los Angeles-area home around 10:30 am local time on Friday, January 3. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The sources told the outlet that Jeff died by suicide.
Jeff and Aubrey, 40, started dating in 2011 and kept their relationship very private over the year. She revealed they were married back in May 2021.
The couple worked on several projects together over the years, including Life After Beth and Spin Me Round. In an interview from April 2021, Aubrey shared some very rare comments about working with Jeff.
