Social media star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is giving away a grand prize of $5 million on his game show Beast Games… so you might be wondering how much money he’s actually worth.

It has been reported that MrBeast has a net worth of $1 billion, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
The social star revealed in a 2024 interview with Time that he brings in $600 million to $700 million per year, but he doesn’t believe he’s rich as he reinvests his money to make content.
“Each video does a couple million in ad revenue, a couple million in brand deals,” he said. “I’ve reinvested everything to the point of—you could claim—stupidity, just believing that we would succeed. And it’s worked out.”
So, whose money is being given away?
You can argue that it’s either Prime Video or MrBeast‘s money.
Prime Video reportedly paid $100 million to MrBeast for the show, which was likely meant to go towards producing the show, paying salaries, and the prizes.
MrBeast has said that he usually reinvests the money that he makes, so it’s likely that he spent a bulk of that money towards making the show as great as it could be. All of the prizes likely came from that $100 million budget, but if MrBeast didn’t give away as many prizes, he probably would have taken home more money.
