Shohei Ohtani is going to be a dad!
On Saturday (December 28), the 30-year-old Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher announced that his wife Mamiko Tanaka is pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Keep reading to find out more…“Can’t wait for the little rookie to join our family soon!” Ohtani wrote on Instagram along with a photo of the couple’s dog Decoy laying next to a pink onesie, little gray shoes, and an ultrasound photo.
If you didn’t know, Ohtani very nonchalantly revealed that he was married to Mamiko, 28, back in February 2024. According to AP, played for the Fujitsu Red Wave team in the Women’s Japan Basketball League from 2019-2023. You can find out more about Mamiko here.
