The numbers are in for Beyonce‘s big Christmas Day halftime performance!
The artist took to the field at NRG Stadium at halftime during the Ravens at Texans NFL game on Wednesday (December 25) for an epic first performance of songs from her album Cowboy Carter.
Airing on Netflix, the NFL game and Beyonce‘s performance, dubbed Beyoncé Bowl, drew in millions of viewers. The singer also drew the biggest audience between both of Netflix’s Christmas day games!

The Ravens-Texans game drew in 24.3m AMA, while the Chiefs-Steelers game earlier in the day drew in 24.1m AMA, according to Nielsen. This makes them the most-streamed NFL games in history!
However, it was Beyoncé‘s halftime show that drew the most viewers, with the US viewership for the game peaking at over 27 million viewers!
In addition to fans tuning in across the world, #BeyonceBowl dominated social media.
According to Netflix, the hashtag #BeyonceBowl became “the #1 worldwide trend on X immediately as her performance kicked off — replacing #Christmas itself. Following her performance, Netflix occupied 10 of the top 12 trending topics on X in the US. #NFLonNetflix also trended around the world, reaching a peak of #2 in Australia, #3 in the UK and Germany, #5 in Brazil and France, #6 in the US.”
“Bringing our members this record-breaking day of two NFL games was the best Christmas gift we could have delivered,” Bela Bajaria, Netflix Chief Content Officer, said in a statement. “We’re thankful for our partnership with the NFL, all of our wonderful on-air talent, and let’s please not forget the electrifying Beyoncé and the brilliant Mariah Carey.”
“We’re thrilled with our first Christmas Gameday on Netflix with NFL games being streamed to a global audience,” Hans Schroeder, NFL executive vice president of media distribution, added. “Fans in all 50 states and over 200 countries around the world watched some of the league’s brightest stars along with a dazzling performance by Beyoncé in a historic day for the NFL.”
During Beyoncé‘s halftime show, she brought out several special guests, including Brittney Spencer, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Shaboozey, Post Malone, and her own daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who danced alongside her mother!
