Cardi B is setting the record straight.
Earlier this week, conservative commentator Candace Owens reached out to the 32-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper on X, formerly known as Twitter, to ask how much she was paid to speak at Vice President Kamala Harris‘ campaign rally in Wisconsin.

Cardi then clapped back letting Candace know that she was not paid to speak at the rally.
“I didn’t get paid a dollar and that’s on my three!!” Cardi responded. “I actually came out of pocket for glam and travel because it’s somewhere I wanted to be.”
“Like please girl you know damn well I’ll argue you down about politics FOR FREE,” Cardi added.
Candace replied to Cardi‘s tweet by writing, “Okay thanks for the response! I didn’t see your name in the report so wanted to tweet and ask.”
Cardi and Candace have been a feuding with each other on social media for years. Back in 2020, Cardi ripped into Candace for calling her an “embarrassment” to Black people.
They went at it again in 2021 after Candace criticized Cardi‘s “WAP” performance at the Grammys.
