It’s been almost two weeks since the tragic loss of Broadway star Gavin Creel and his partner Alex Temple Ward is speaking out with a touching tribute.
Gavin passed away at the age of 48 on September 30 following a brief battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. He was a beloved member of the Broadway community with many credits to his name and a Tony Award win for Hello, Dolly.
Alex, who is also an actor, took to his Instagram account this week to share a tribute to Gavin.

The Broadway community will be honoring Gavin with a light dimming ceremony following an outcry from fans and performers.
