Halle Berry reacted to some big claims that director Matthew Vaughn made about the 2006 movie X-Men: The Last Stand.
If you forgot, the 58-year-old actress famously played Storm, the weather-controlling mutant, in the movie. It was her third project in the franchise.
However, last year Matthew claimed that he was in talks to direct the movie but backed out after learning that a studio executive was trying to deceive Halle about the scope of her role so that she’d sign on.
The quote has resurfaced, and Halle took to social media to respond.

Halle shared a video featuring Matthew‘s claims on X (formerly Twitter).
“Ya just never know the shady s-it going on behind ya back,” she wrote. “Thank you Matthew Vaughn for bringing the dark to light ????️”
The actress reprised her role in the franchise in 2014′s Days of Future Past. She later expressed interest in reprising the role, which was later played by Alexandra Shipp.
