Jennifer Hudson had a VERY special guest on her talk show this week – boyfriend Common!
The rapper and actor appeared on the show with fellow Grammy winner Pete Rock on Thursday (October 3).
The two Oscar-winning superstars have been linked since September 2022 and they’ve remained coy about their relationship, even when she interviewed him on her talk show this year.
But now, Jennifer is openly asking Common about marriage!

“I heard you’ve been even out there talking about marriage. What’s that about?” Jennifer said.
Common replied, “You know what, you told me a quote that your mother said, ‘A man knows what he wants.’ I was saying my true feelings about, listen, Jennifer is the person. If I should be married, it will be to Jennifer Kate Hudson. I was just being honest.”
Over the summer, Common spoke out on the Breakfast Club radio show and said, “With all due respect to all the women I’ve dated… it’s all love, but this is a really healthy and beautiful relationship. If I’m going to get married, it’s to her. That’s simple as that.”
