Megan Hilty says that her role as Madeline Ashton in the Broadway musical Death Becomes Her is such a physical task that she became a runner to prepare for the job!
The Tony-nominated actress is opening up about her next starring role on Broadway and she also joined co-stars Jennifer Simard, Michelle Williams, and Christopher Sieber for a photo call on Wednesday (September 25) in New York City.
The production begins preview performances on October 23 ahead of an official opening night on November 21.

“I do small vocal warm-ups, but I don’t want to exhaust myself before a show. What’s most helpful is getting enough sleep and being hydrated. I do IV treatments of multivitamins and stuff like that. I get to do a bit of everything vocally in this show,” Megan told Vulture. “I took up running so that I could literally breathe throughout the course of the show, because I don’t stop moving, and when I’m not onstage I’m doing the quickest of quick changes.”
