Jelly Roll is hitting the stage.
The 39-year-old musician led the In Memoriam segment at the 2024 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 15) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
Jelly Roll gave a moving performance of his ballad “I Am Not Okay” as the awards show honored stars that have passed away this past year, including Bob Newhart, James Earl Jones, and Shannen Doherty.

I hope that this song can act as a healing moment for those mourning the storytellers that we have lost this year. If you are feeling lost or alone tonight, I want you to know that it’s OK to not always be OK.”
