Shōgun is one of the most acclaimed shows in recent memory and the new FX series is expected to sweep at the Emmy Awards this weekend.
FX’s Shōgun, an original adaptation of James Clavell’s bestselling novel, is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a century-defining civil war. The series leads Emmy nominations this year with 25 noms overall, including one for Outstanding Drama Series.
