Anya Taylor-Joy has her eyes set on a Disney musical!
In a new interview, the 28-year-old Golden Globe-winning actress revealed that her “dream” role would be playing Queen Elsa if Disney ever decided to give Frozen the live-action movie treatment.
Keep reading to find out more…“I really want to do a musical because I’m a little too obsessed with my current job,” Anya shared with Vogue Hong Kong. “I love the challenge of completing impossible tasks. I think that’s incredibly motivating for me, so the idea of being able to sing, dance, and act at the same time is really exciting to me.”
She continued, “I think Frozen is going to be great. Shooting ice cubes out of your hands can be a lot of fun. And, you’ll be the favorite at every kid’s birthday party. All my siblings have kids now, so I would love for them to be able to say, ‘My aunt is Elsa.’ That would be great!”
Frozen was released in 2013 while the sequel was released six years later in 2019
While Disney hasn’t made any announcements about turning Frozen into a live-action movie, it has been announced that Frozen III will be released in theaters in 2027!
