Julianne Hough is opening up about the tragic loss of her two dogs.
The 36-year-old Dancing With the Stars judge and former pro dancer lost her beloved dogs Lexi and Harley on the same day back in 2019, but she has not talked about what happened until now.
Julianne has previously revealed how the dogs died just 10 days after she asked ex-husband Brooks Laich for a separation, which made it even more devastating.
During an appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, which aired on Tuesday (August 27), Julianne opened up about what happened to her dogs.

“I woke up before my phone even rang and I knew, and I picked up the phone and my assistant at the time was just, like, screaming,” Julianne said before revealing that they were both killed by coyotes.
Before the incident, Julianne said she “never had coyotes in her yard” and had the yard secured with a fence.
“I had asked for a separation,” Julianne said about her personal life drama at the time. “And then 10 days later my dogs were killed by coyotes.”
“I felt so out of integrity or out of like, alignment,” she added. “My dogs that represented unconditional love and safety — gone.”
“They went together, I’m so grateful they went together,” she noted. “Two, I’m grateful that usually how it happens is very quick and that we got their bodies. But at that time I was like, ‘Oh that was the unraveling of the absolute safety of like unconditional love.’”
Julianne recently revealed what happened at the end of her marriage.
