Carrie Coon is addressing the future of The Gilded Age.
The series was renewed for a third season by HBO late last year, and we already know of one character’s exit from the series!
However, fans are already wondering if there might be a fourth season of the period piece drama, set in New York City in the late 1800s.

Carrie Coon, who plays Bertha Russell on the show, was asked about the future of the series.
She told Variety, “Right now we’re on a one-year deal. So I’m optimistic that we could get another year. If for some reason the numbers skyrocket this season, perhaps we’d get a multi-year deal, but that’s really above my pay grade.” So, basically, a fourth season could happen should the viewership remain the same. Should lots more people tune in, more seasons could also be possible!
