Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez‘s divorce news has made it to the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
Mindy Kaling served as the celebrity host for the third night of the convention and took to the stage to support her friend and presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Wednesday (August 21) held at the United Center in Chicago, Ill.
During her speech, the 45-year-old actress and producer referenced Ben and Jennifer‘s divorce, which was announced the day before.

“Everyone is always hating on us, but they just don’t get it. Go Sox. Go Jayson Tatum. Ben Affleck, hang in there!” Mindy continued, as the audience laughed.
If you didn’t know, Ben was born and raised in Boston, Mass.
“Dunkin Donuts is the best coffee in the world,” Mindy added, in reference to Ben being a big fan of the quick service restaurant.
