Travis Scott has been arrested.
The 33-year-old “Highest in the Room” rapper, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, was arrested at a five-star hotel in Paris, France in the early morning hours of Friday (August 9) after getting into fight with his bodyguard.
French authorities told People that Travis was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a security guard at the George V Hotel, who attempted to break up the fight between the rapper and his bodyguard.
Keep reading to find out more…“I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, shortly after 5 a.m., the police were called to the Georges V Hotel and arrested the man nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard,” the Paris prosecutor’s officer shared in a statement with People.
“The latter had himself intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard,” the statement continued. “The 1st judicial police district was seized of the investigation by the Paris prosecutor’s office.”
Travis has been in Paris for the 2024 Olympics and on Thursday (August 8), he was seen attending Team USA’s basketball semifinal win against Serbia.
Back in June, Travis was arrested in Miami for trespassing property after being given a warning and disorderly intoxication.
Travis also found himself in some trouble back in May when he got into a physical altercation with another star.
