It sounds like Simone Biles‘ Olympics career isn’t over yet!
On Saturday (August 3), the 27-year-old gymnast won the gold medal in the individual vault final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, her third at this year’s summer games and seventh career Olympic gold.
During a press conference after her win, Simone was asked, “Is this the last time we’re going to see you vaulting in competition?”

The 2028 Summer Olympics will be held in Los Angeles. If Simone does compete in the 2028 Olympics, she would be the only American gymnast to ever qualify for four Olympics. While Simone will be 31-years-old in 2028, she is already the oldest female gymnast to qualify for Team USA since the 1950s when she secured her spot in this year’s games.
If you missed it, Simone recently hit back at criticism surrounding her husband.
