Chicago Fire has found a new fire chief for the show’s 13th season!
The hit NBC series is bringing on Dermot Mulroney as Dom Pascal, the new fire chief who is stepping up to fill Battalion Chief Wallace Boden’s place with actor Eamonn Walker‘s departure.

Deadline confirmed the casting news, noting that Dermot‘s character is still a mystery. However, he has been “described as a cheerful person.”
The outlet noted that Dermot‘s addition would stir up some drama in the fire station as Boden had previously labeled David Eigenberg‘s Christopher Hermann as next in line.
Eamonn has been a member of the show since it’s debut. His departure was announced back in May. If you don’t remember, find out what happened to his character.
