Clint Eastwood‘s partner Christina Sandera‘s cause of death has been revealed.
Last week, it was announced that the 94-year-old actor and director’s partner of over 10 years died at the age of 61.
On Tuesday (July 23), a rep for the Monterey County Health Department confirmed how Christina passed away.
Keep reading to find out more…The rep shared Christina‘s death certificate with The New York Post, which listed her immediate cause of death as “cardiac arrhythmia,” which refers to an irregular heartbeat.
“A heart arrhythmia occurs when the electrical signals that tell the heart to beat don’t work properly,” according to the Mayo Clinic. “The heart may beat too fast or too slow. Or the pattern of the heartbeat may be inconsistent.”
Christina‘s death certificate also states that an “atherosclerotic coronary artery disease” was an additional condition that led to her death.
