Ingrid Andress is going to rehab after her viral National Anthem performance at last night’s 2024 Home Run Derby.
The 32-year-old country singer revealed in a statement that she was intoxicated while performing, and has made the decision to get help.

On X, she posted, “I’m not gonna bullsh-t y’all, I was drunk last night. I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is I hear it’s super fun. xo, Ingrid.”
If you don’t know, she’s a four-time Grammy-nominated singer best known for songs like “More Hearts Than Mine,” “The Stranger,” and “Wishful Drinking.” She co-wrote Charli XCX‘s song “Boys.” She was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys in 2021.
